In the frost on the pavement I can see the footprints of the early morning paper getter. He'll be back home now, trying to do the crossword as his mug of tea spills ghosts. She sits across from him, though she passed away last winter. He is head bob sobbing inside the clue for 1 Down ... ‘One to go’ (9 letters).
